Advisory Groups Overview
Young
people work with the Superintendent, Division Administrators and
Principals to provide ideas, give feedback, and influence policies
and procedures that affect students. In order to gain a broader
student perspective, members may conduct focus groups in secondary
schools, or administer surveys to the general student population.
Members receive training and skill development throughout the year
and address such issues as school safety, student/teacher relationships,
class schedules, and attendance policies.
