BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Financial and Administrative oversight of Alternatives, Inc. is provided by an Administrative Board of Directors comprised of community leaders who have expertise in financial, legal, and organizational issues pertinent to the sustainability of non-profit organizations.

COMMUNITY BOARD OF ADVISORS
In addition to an Administrative Board of Directors, members of a Community Advisory Board serve in an advocacy role providing Alternatives with a larger community perspective. Members represent key leadership in business, local government, public education, and mental health. A complete roster of names is available upon request.

YOUTH ADVISORY BOARD
High School students from Hampton and Newport News serve as members of a Youth Advisory Board. Members of this Board provide staff of Alternatives with input and feedback regarding service delivery. They address such topics as recruitment and program implementation. In addition, they advocate for the continuation of programs and services with local funders and governing bodies. A roster of Youth Advisory Board members is available upon request.
